@IPlayGtr The noise is an fx on the ZVEX Fuzz Factory, the knob called 'Stab'. You can adjust it the way you want,

and in this case, it's meant to be dirty, so everything you hear in this video is well thought and in my oppinion, brilliant. You should check out the Fuzz factory, it's really cool!

I saw Scott at the all-star guitar night NAMM 2009...he was absolutely mesmerizing. This video is spectacular but in order to relay a educated opinion on Scott's playing you need to check him out in other videos/performances. There is so much to this guy you wouldn't believe. Truly an awesome musician and an innovator.

Yup, I know what velcro fuzz is, I play live once sometimes twice a week, and fortunately, like Scott, I don't have to prove that I can play to anyone. I also feel that although I admire people like Henderson, DiMeola, Beck and others, I don't fawn all over everything they do with abject fanaticism. They're only human and make mistakes just like me (and you)..maybe not as many.. I also don't measure soul by how much feedback I can produce; ass-whatever your name is..enough said
