I too was proud to be a Texan when Ann was governor. I was proud to to vote for her and even prouder to know her. When she walked in the room the place lit up. I miss her so much it's excruciaating---no one will ever fill her shoes. RIP Bud too--her beau to the end, Bud Shrake---they are buried next to each other in the Texas State
Cemetery.God rest you both---two of the funniest, wittiest, and savviest
people I have ever had the privilege to know.

Wish she was here to get Sarah to shut the hell up.

Class...pure class.....

She was a class act, she was caring, she was witty, she was funny, she maintained her beauty until the day she was no more and she was a humanitarian...RIP Madame Governor...

Beautifully done! Excellent for the grand dame of the south. How much more the nation looked to and really cared about your state when you had her as your Governor. Back then, I don't think political parties were what they've become today. She loved Texas and her people. Her humor was fantastic. R.I.P.

I count myself to be one heckuva lucky man to have voted for her twice. I was SO proud of her when she was my governor. Wisdom and her common sense are sorely missed around these parts. Fort Worth loves ya Ann!

She's so deeply missed. If only she'd been around to see Obama in the White House. Wow!
