  • In my country i doubt that the medicines that u recommend in d video, are available. Are there exercises to overcome dis problem? also, i hve heard that a three-segement nap sessions, in d whole day, is advisable. pls help!

  • I've assumed I had insomnia; I didn't sleep for 11 days and had a breakdown so they gave me 7 sleeping pills which gave me 4 hours sleep that week.

I have strong urges to sleep, & switch off when walking. I have weird memory lapses, it's not like my bad memory; I will blink and not remember the minutes beforehand. Might be micro sleep with automatic behaviour; I apparently hold down conversations fine but don't remember it. I doubt my GP will investigate it, they won't check anything ever. >_<

  • The best drug to keep you awake is Dexedrine. It is supposed to be addictive, but it is not if you take it according to directions. Maybe 10 mg (spansule) per day. If you take extra drugs, they may interact badly. Never take Ambien from anyone. Provigil has dangerous side effects. Ritalin is ineffective for narcolepsy. Xyrem is the "date rape drug" which puts you into a coma. Note: a coma is NOT a cure for sleepiness. Beware: some docs RX 3 drugs when mixed can kill you. (ie) Elvis

    Presley.

  • @jasophie218 so why you dont change your doc??

  • @mrconradhoppe are you narcoleptic,or have insomnia, your doc is weird cuse one of other is neurological disease,it is not in your brain, and narcolepsy is autoimunny disease,it is all about chemic in your brain,it is not mental case it is neurological case...

  • @unnim Are you on Xyrem? lol ; - P

  • Two years ago I was diagnosed with narcolepsy and tried Provigil (too expensive) and Xyrem (didn't help much) then I was put on Adderall which seems to do the trick. Don't feel like I'm on speed and not the least bit addicted, it makes me feel more alert for a while but I still need to nap in the afternoon. I don't know about the rest of narcoleptics but this disorder makes concentration and focus difficult when I have EDS and my memory is also affected.

  • drug pusher

  • Is it just me, or is she way sexy, and smart. I am sorry, I do take her seriously but, I cannot help but wonder, what makes her excited, and can i perform it. Hmmm make ya think.

  • @mrconradhoppe This sounds so much like me I even have the ringing sometimes.what meds are you on Im taking dexadrine it helps me tremendously.hope this helps.
