We should be lucky? The United States of America has the largest prison population in the world.

the idiots that see the police as justified are a huge threat to our freedoms and liberty. that kind of ignorance should embarrass them. the people that see footage and still criticize the actual people that had courage enough to record and disseminate this material and laugh and joke about it are going to learn the hard way how stupid they are.

I sent an email to the Pittsburgh Police criticizing their actions on this night. I didn't make any threats, but I believe I reserve the right to criticize such actions. Should I be worried about retaliation from them? And if so, is that right? Should I have to be worried for speaking out on behalf of the way most people feel about this? Show these videos to as many people as possible and see if their reaction is positive or negative toward the actions of the police.

No- you should not be worried about retaliation. You have the right to express your opinion and criticisms. It would be illegal to retaliate, and plus, they have better things to do than to seek you out.

B glad you live in America buddy. The police in mostly all foreign countries don't have restrictions like American police have, letting them do almost anything to anybody. Actually, American police are kept more in line than any other police agency in the world.

And black people still get beat and shot with regularity lol. At least thoseo ther countries' citizens have the balls to go out and fight and clash with their police (Greece and Italy come to mind)

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty."

And from George Washington:
"If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter."

"Over grown military establishments are under any form of government inauspicious to liberty, and are to be regarded as particularly hostile to republican liberty. "
