The wastewater in the glass was taken from Clean Marine Solutions' VANISH 300 Marina Power-Wash Wastewater Recycle System sample spigot three minutes after the last polymer was injected.
The video shows how quickly the toxic heavy metals settle out. After filtration, the water will have a fraction of the heavy metals allowed in drinking water. The precipitate is drained from the bottom of a cone bottomed tank and then through a filter. The dry precipitate is a non-hazardous waste.

Clean Marine Solutions mission is to help boatyards and marinas comply with the Federal Clean Water Act. It is illegal to discharge boat wash wastewater onto land or surface waters. Boat-wash wastewater has been tested to have 69,000 times more copper than the EPA allows for discharge. Copper and other heavy metals are very toxic to marine life.
