Hi guys, i'm brazilian n' basically they're saying this:

1st - the woman in red (she plays the mother) talks a bit about the movie as a whole n' says the release date here in Brazil.

2nd - it shows a deleted scene from the theatrical version with one of the brothers and their "maid" n' she basically says that she had an affair with his father a long time ago.

it's a scene not too important to the movie.

this film makes me wanna learn portugese. but please!!! sb adds english subtitle on it so people like me who don't understand a word of portugese can watch it!!

I watched this film, and while it did make me feel uncomfortable, as the mother of two sons, it is my opinion that art should make you feel, something, even if that some thing is discomfort. I did actually love the film, from a visual, standpoint. The love story was sensual, romantic, and gorgeous the two protagonists simply breath taking. I did feel however that the ending was wrapped up too neatly. Needed more obstacles to overcome considering subject.

@bigmommand Basically, that almost 40 years prior, she, Rosa, the housekeeper, had a romantic affair with Pedro, Francisco's father, and that they were together a few months, she broke it off and traveled, when she returned 15 years later, Pedro and Julieta, Francisco's mother, were already separated and he returned to Buenos Aires. Rosa and Julieta became friends and she always felt loved and part of the family after Julieta married Alexander and they had Tomas. Basically!
