My latest project: I inherited this from my Grandfather. It has sat outside since 1972 approximately. Restoration is moving forward. The engine is savable.

Sorry I'm late at replying: I have the engine apart and started cleaning and painting. Good news is that it's all saveable!!! Yay! I have to get some springs and such, but the big stuff is OK.

how is the restoration going? does the engine run now?

This is my 3rd attempt at a reply: The engine is apart, beadblasted and most of it painted. Everything was very seized but came apart thanks to KROIL! Fortunately all parts were savable. I have not touched the mixer, but hope to get back on it this winter. I need to find the metal skid for the engine. I'll post more as I make progress. Thanks for your interest! Andy

cool mixer! we have to jaegers a bit newer and bigger, i swear the old hit and miss runs perfect...until we dumo the hopper then it would quit...so in trying to restart i probably mixed more by hand! lol still cool to find and fix old equipment. cant find new stuff as good as this!! good luck!
