  • At 3:46 do you know who that man is???

  • @davidpekofske Have no clue. I was made aware sometime ago that Larry Craig is pictured in here somewhere. This video was made almost 4 years ago at that time I didnt even know who Larry Craig was. As far as the guy at 3:46 I have no idea I used pictures that were in the Public Domain. If you actually know who that is maybe you could reply and let us all know. Thanks

  • Respect to all us veterans from Finland!

I have a question: What was chosen as the veteran day to USA?

Cause in finland the natonal veteran days is held the same date when the Germans were pushed back to Norway and the war was over by the finns. So what day is the US veteran day representing?

  • The End of World War I the signing of the treaty / surrender was signed at the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month. Nov 11th is Veterans day here in the US due to that.

    Hope this helps

  • GREAT video and THANK you for picking JOURNEY and this song sung by STEVE PERRY...

  • This video increases our awareness of what they have done for us to gain freedom. We are forever grateful to you guys.

  • @MrGrevy , have you ever placed yourself in harms' way or undergone great physical stress and isolation for reasons other than to feed your face, fuel your car or satisfy your sex drive?

The Nations' veterans have done it and the active duty members are doing it. What are you doing?

  • @laskusiiveke In addition to what MadScience says, I might add that prior to the end of WWII it was known as Armistice Day. The French still celebrate it as Armistice Day, those countries affiliated with the former British Empire celebrate it as Remembrance Day and we celebrate it as Veterans day.

  • Thanks to all who have served, past, present and future. Thank you to my father for fighting in WWII. He came home when it was over and was never the same again. I love you, Dad. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you.

  • Thank you to all veterans! I was in the Army, and I know what it's like to serve my country. Once again, God bless all who have served and are now serving this great country.

  • Great video and collection of images from conflicts past and present. These men and women signed a blank check made payable to our Country for an amount up to and including their lives. The next time you feel good about living in a free Nation, think of them. If you see a service member in uniform, thank them.

"We sleep safely in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on thse who would do us harm"...
