Au contraire, my friend. Ghouls and Ghosts is the sequel to Ghosts and Goblins, both which came out first on arcade. There were many, many ports of both games, however the NES only got Ghosts and Goblins. The Master System and Genesis had ports of Ghouls and Ghosts, and later the SNES got their own version called Super Ghouls and Ghosts. There were also ports on the Amstrad CPC, Commodore Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Supergrafx, and Sharp X68000.
