Love the tone of the guitar. Sounds great in open C! Fahey is one of my favorite guitar players, this is a classic tune and your version is just great! Good job! :)

great playing*****
I have problems with c open to get it right in tune and stay that way. It is a very low tuning on the thick strings.
I like to invite you to my JIMMY REED tribute - an animated short film of 74 seconds. I recorded new music to it but in the old fashioned way.
I hope you enjoy it,
greetings

Hi Pete, I have the same guitar (Is about 18 years old!!!) I love it. What strings are you using? I use a D'addario .010 - .046 but I don't like it. What strings do you recomend for this guitar? Best regards from Mexico.

@rcortiz Hi I tend to use light strings but slightly heavier than yours starting with a .011. I use a variety but John Pierce are very good. I only use phosphor bronze and I don't much go for coated strings although you have to change them more often. All the best to you. Pete.

Hello Pete! Would you be interested in selling this guitar?
mspulice 6 months ago
@mspulice Thanks, I'll take that as a compliment for the guitar altho' it's not for sale. It does have a tone which readily lends itself to a certain kind of blues. All the best, Pete.

I have two of these guitars that I play at work (music teacher) I love them
Madmacmummers 10 months ago
@Madmacmummers Yes they do have a very special sound despite not having been produced as high end guitars ... and a rather meaty neck. Thanks for dropping by. Pete.
