This is the missing part from the youtube documentary (What caused the financial crash). I think this is the best part and I had to upload it.
Merton, Scholes and Black all created a new industry. Was this the cause of the crisis, it's up to you (the viewer) to decide?

  • someone can tell me that music sounds, please?

  • @bricomen

Sorry man, I tried to find the name of the tune to no avail. I even used an iPhone application but no luck there. I am assuming it is a tune composed by the film maker.

  • I just learned that Paul Samuelson died on December 13. Another great mind is gone.

    Rest in peace Professor.

  • @atodbr The Trillion Dollar Bet

  • What is the name of the documentary???

  • the music that starts at 5:48 is truly brilliant (i need to know the compsoer/piece)

  • Nice find!

  • Thanks anyway. I too have tried music scanners.

I have also been in touch with music director (James Yannotos) and the producer (Malcolm Clark) of the film, alas, no avail either.

I have been informed that it is public domain music probably from KPM. I have heard nearly 300 peices from the KPM library, to no avail.

It does sound abit like Philip Glass (he has some derivitives of Henry Purcell's works). It could also however be Michael Nyman.

If anyone has any luck please get in touch.

  • Thanks for uploading! This was a pretty important part.
