Ford Racing Engineers do extensive testing to ensure that our Superchargers deliver optimal power without impacting the longevity of your powertrain. In partnership with Shelby American Inc, Ford Racing is working to ensure that the upcoming supercharger featured on the Shelby GT350 exceeds expectations. Check out the video to see some behind the scenes testing with our engineers.

  • I was looking into getting a whipple for my 2012 5.0, but I wasn't sure how it would affect my car's warranty. How would it work?

  • the only thing fordracing cares about is mustang if you have a truck well then tuff dont buy a supercharger for a truck your wasting your money its a rip off

  • @idontknow5858

If you google 2014 mustang, you will find some articles with some speculation based upon some information Ford has let out. Some of it is pure speculation (though not unreasonable) while other parts are coming from a source from Ford.

  • @HomesliceDrummer

Where'd you hear this? and i should be out of college by then! So i might see ya at the dealer. haha.

  • @idontknow5858

Yep, they started over with this one. It's even made with direct injection capability, which I am almost positive we will see on the 2014 50th anniversary. Rumor has they are looking to drop weight to around 3300 (new smaller chassis), direct injection for more hp and better MPG and I.R.S. It's going to be real special and I am gonna buy one :-)

  • @HomesliceDrummer

maybe i read the wrong article. thanks for correcting me.

  • @idontknow5858

    Wrong.

The 5.0 is an all new block not related to/derived from the previous 4.6L 3V or the previous 5.0L ohv.

  • @fox8950

    It's not the same 5.0L from the 80's and early 90's. It's a beefed up 4.6L.

  • @scottATL24

    WTF are you talking about?lol

  • @fox8950 Im one of the guys reaping all the benefits, p.s only if you knew what 2012 had to offer.
