Everywoman - S Arabia & Long Necked Women- 01 Feb 08 - Pt 1

Although Saudi Arabia ratified the UN Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women seven years ago it has recently been questioned by a UN committee about gender equality abuses in the kingdom. The Kayan hill tribe from Myanmar stand out because their women wear multiple rings round their necks. Now one young girl is fighting back. In an act of defiance, she has removed the rings. Everywoman went to meet her.

Pagans who worship hundreds of gods did not want to accept Islam not because Muahmmad was spreading the message of ONE god but because he taught the equality of men and women. They rejected Islam on the basis that Muhammad said women are equal to men. The could accept the One god message not the equality - so don't you dare call Islam a sexist.

Islam is strict on rape. Its classified under adultery hence the man will be punished. It doesn't condone such behavior.
