The Panamanian Golden Frog isn't extinct.
A few are in captivity, and there may still be some in the wild, who knows.
And technically, it's a toad ;)
I just love their waving motions.
And long live David Attenborough.

The fact they are not extint, they are extinct in the wild but are still surviving (just) in captivity where they are treated with a type of fungacide. Whether they will ever be released back into the wilds again is another matter.
