  • do you have a fractions version of this?

  • @noobwerd

Search my videos for "solving & fractions" and I think you might find some helpful things to check out.

    I hope that helps! :-)

  • What happens if the number cant divide?

So like what if was 3 = 25

    What would you do?

  • @frostybearx

Do you mean that there's no variable left? If that's the case, when we end up with something that's not true, like 3 = 25, then there is no solution. If you end up with something that is true, like 3 = 3, then it's an identity and all numbers will work.

    I hope that helps! :-)

  • @mbrandl11 What about -8(4=9x)=7(-2-11x)

  • @SuperNickBowser Start by distributing to get rid of the parenthesis. -8(4 + 9x) = 7(-2 - 11x) -32 - 72x = -14 - 77x Then add 77x to both sides to get all the variables together on one side. -32 - 72x + 77x = -14 - 77x + 77x -32 + 5x = -14 Then add 32 to both sides. -32 + 32 + 5x = -14 + 32 5x = 18 Finally, divide by 5 on both sides to get: 5x/5 = 18/5 x = 18/5 or 5 3/5 I hope that helps! Keep working hard on your math! :-)

  • I now know this...... YES! I better get an A for sure. x__x

  • Thanks for the help

  • @gerardo95062

Start by distributing the -5 and the 2 through on the left and right respectively.

    -35 - 5x + 15 = x + 2x - 4

    Then combine like terms

    -20 - 5x = 3x - 4

I bet you can take it from there! I hope that helps! Keep working hard! :-)

  • Seriously I know this but I need help with this one: -35-5(x-3)=x+2(x-2)
