Judge Dredd is a 1995 action film directed by Danny Cannon, and starring Sylvester Stallone, Diane Lane, Rob Schneider, Armand Assante and Max von Sydow. The film is based on the Judge Dredd strip in the British comic 2000 AD. Certain elements of the film were altered from the comic series, but it still did not find wide mainstream appeal.

  • Awesome trailer, bad movie. ;) However, in these 2 minutes, they've just shown about HALF THE MOVIE. XDDD

  • Judge Dredd - the greatest action hero of them all.

    But this film never really showed that!

  • A proper Judge Dredd film would be the ultimate anti-Hollywood blockbuster film! Imagine a 200 million dollasr summer release sci-fi film about a fascist cop in a brutal nightmarish police state sci-fi world.

    I doubt any studio would have the courage to do that.

    The new Dredd 2012 film may be the next best thing to a proper version, but the leaked screenplay is a bit lacking in depth and scope. Still, it could be better than the 1995 film version.
