World's Biggest Debtor Countries.
many national economies have looked to their government and foreign lenders for financial support, which translates to increased spending, borrowing and in most cases, growing national debt.
Deficit spending, government debt and private sector borrowing are the norm in most western countries, but due in part to the global financial crisis, some nations and economies are in considerably worse debt positions than others.
External debt is a measure of a nation's foreign liabilities, capital plus interest that a country must eventually pay. This number not only includes government debt, but also debt owed by the private sector and individuals.
Those aren't the most updated figures for CNBC's list of biggest debtor nations. Most of those debts and percentages of the GDP's have actually increased for all of these countries.

Re-read it ok. The NDP which i'm sure you vote for or the liberals you can take your pick they're all the same have economic policies that are on par with Europe. The stimulus's, bailouts, increased government spending is what they have been known for. Canada needs a balanced budget or it will end up like the rest of the western world. Don't distort what I'm saying we have such an opportunity right now its gold but the voting class needs to be aware of it.

He has cut more than any other fucking western leader combined. You ought to look up the NDP's economic plan or what the liberal economists say. We'll be like fucking Europe in no time. Please for the sake of our country drop the bigotry schmuck. Please read something

Our debt is good and within the decade we could be the first western country to have a balanced budget.

this list is very wrong with many countries, its actually so wrong with some, that i have to say it has to be wrong when it was made too (in 2009?). So don't take it that seriously and if you really want to learn go to a more reliable source than youtube. (even wikipedia is correct with these kind of figures so you can go there)
