  • Your relatives did a wonderful work. I'll never forget my time there. I am a Christian, too, and I was very blessed by the walk, the sculptures, the church and the view!

  • My Uncle Walter Gallegos & Cousins Troy & Toby Gallegos Built the Adobe church. My apologies if I left anyone out who helped build this church. My Grand parents & great Grandparents are buried not to far away in the Old Cemetery. The Stations of the cross tell the important Story of Christs Sacrifice for our sins. As a Christian you should know this and it should be an important part of any Christians walk with our Lord and savior.

  • The San Luis Valley holds a lot of mysteries. Thank you for sharing.

  • there is a road. you go about a mile North of town and pass an auto yard and turn Left just at the fence line and go up the hill. It leads you to the Shrine. I have been there. in 2005.
