Rabbi Yehuda Leib Posner relates how at a 1940's Farbrengen, the Rebbe taught a lesson in Avodas Hashem (divine service) from the game of chess.

  • it was an interesting story, but why did he say only jewish souls what about others?

  • The Rebbe was talking to a Jewish chess player at that time, about Jewish observance. But this lesson can be applied to anyone.

  • Sam Reshevsky was a grandmaster and brilliant player, but he had never been a world champion.

  • I disagree, I'm Mexican, and if a Mexican person tells me that our group of souls are special, more so than any others, I wouldn't believe him. In history there have been ideas passed down from generation to generation for Survival mind sets, wll within the group. Simply put, we all posses special souls.
