"My Blue Eyed Jane" was the first record I ever owned. It was around 1954/55 when I was 5 or 6 years old. An elderly couple across the road had some old 78's and were playing them one night while my family was visiting. I fell in love with this one record and asked them to play it over and over. They finally got so fed up that they gave it to me. I'm 63 now and I still have it! Thanks for posting.

Bob Dylan had a wonderful rendition of the song,but no one beats Jimmie Rodgers !!!!
