On May 30, 2008, 8 members of the Parker Guitars internet forum were given a behind the scenes look at the Parker Factory in Mundelein, IL. This video contains some highlights of the amazing guitars we saw.

@myway43, no - so far they've only done two. This one in May of 2008, and another one in 2009.

I don't remember seeing it. While the people at the factory were so cool, they didn't point out any Fly's that were being custom made... we had to ask! :-)

That's the thinnest, lightest-weight body going. Ibanez can't touch Parker. Period.

I've got one and I love it, the feel and the look. But I can see what you mean, you either love em or hate em!!

I want one. But Im not paying for it. I can imagine the sustain and resonance wouldnt be too great either, with such a thin body.

@cbrandom I'm a guitarist, I played guitar for years: acoustic guitar, classical guitar and electric guitar. I also played the piano and drums. Photography is my hobby.

@cbrandom For me, parker guitars are ugly, especially the fly. And I don´t like its sound. Framus Panthera, Stratocaster, Gibson, PRS, that´s what I prefer. Is that bad? Do I have to be beheaded?

@MegaSmud Why don't you go take some more pictures of tree sap? You clearly have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to guitars.

@MegaSmud It's not exactly an expensive domestic guitar either. What do those start at, like 700 bucks? Parkers start at under a grand. More high end Parkers cost more, but the same can be said for higher end American strats. I don't see what your beef is with Parker. Not even wanting one for free, you've clearly never played one and are just butt-hurt about something.

@guitarosaur No shit. My Strat is lighter than my RG570... The Floyd Rose adds a couple pounds alone.

These guitars sound like they look: flat. Sounds a little pale, such as sheet metal. Real guitars are made from 100% wood. The only high on this guitar is its price.
