Sonic The Hedgehog Walkthrough Part 6 Sky Base

Here is me doing a walkthrough for Sonic The Hedgehog for the Sega master system. Personally i prefer this sonic over the genesis version because i find it more fun to play. Through out the walkthrough i will collect all of the chaos emeralds and play all of the bonus games. In this part of the walkthrough i will be doing the Sky Base zone. This is my least favorite zone because i hate the turrets on the first act as they always seem to fire when your right above them. Also i had to take the "boring" root on the second act because thats the only way you can get that emerald.

Oh man, I remember this... how old would I have been? 6? 7? I remember this zone as being very difficult, especially on the moving part where you would be chased by something throughout the map? Nevertheless, I managed to see it through. And the Act 1 music owns, what the fuck! That's one thing I didn't remember.

god damn ur good! i got out the master system to play this and i sucked i couldnt find any chaos emeralds and i died alot :(

@hi8ize Thanks, it is hard at first but once you play it for abit you do get better. i have a video which shows the location of all of the chaos emeralds which might help you out :D.

I actually prefer the SMS incarnations. They had greater platforming elements which put it more in league with Mario, though the level design at times has a Mega Man feel. This is the direction Sonic should have taken.

@Blitzbok Thats why i prefered the SMS version to. To be honest i never really liked the genesis version because of this game.

I never realised you could off to the left on Sky Blimp 1 I always thought you had to go right. Feel really silly now that I never beat the game :(
