@jay2507 hopefully things pick up next season so the raiders can finally get the recognition they deserve. plus if the analalysed think the chargers are the most talented and playoff ready team in the west they are on something. they might have won that last game but they gave up over 400 yards to the raiders but they dont focus on that stuff when it comes to the chargers

Yesterdays Niners loss immediately reminded me of how close my Raiders were to winning it all.
-
@euskaldanak Unfortunately I do!!!
-
man i still dont get it that we played so good that game and then go to the superbowl and lose 2 the yucs its crap
-
To this day i don't understand, why callahan didn't go early and often to Rice against the Bucs, he thrived on Super Bowl pressure.
-
I was there... We were all yelling "were going to the bowl!!!" man was that a good day... I was 18 ... Man how time flys
-
@copraiders1 Remember when Barrett Robins forgot to show up to the superbowl? haha
-
I remember watching this game and seeing the sea of black the coliseum was off the hook that night.. Just new in the air it was Raiders night.
-
@copraiders1 1 sign that the raiders are starting to return to glory is the fact that their division record last year was 6-0.
-
its such a perfect ending with the lineman getting into their stance and do their salute and then the victory play go raiders
-
Absolutely! Yeah, that was a good thing on two fronts...it was as good as JaFatass was ever going to be (he had a great 4th quarter) and as much as I love Chucky...seeing him bounced out of the playoffs that day was effin' sweet.
-
@cbaldwinjr Also, beating the Bucs in 2008 to get Chucky fired was classic
-
@bigjbzzl True. That killed the franchise. McDaniels came in and drove them into the ground. Good point.
-
@copraiders1 --Crazy as this sounds--Jamarcus beating the Broncos in Denver was a classic game. The 4th & 14 to the pass to Schelins. The closer was the look on Shannahans face, because he knew he was fired after that loss/season. It also killed their playoff hopes. We don't always have to be great to be memorable. Even when we stink we post legendary moments...fyi...

Well...there have been some games in that seven-year abyss. The Jerry Porter snow game in Denver in 2004. The upset over SB champion Pittsburgh in 2006...the only highlight of that year. The win over Denver in 2007 when JaBustus debuted and we actually thought we had someone to build with. Doc B's comebacks over Cincinnati and Pittsburgh in 2009...and the win over San Diego before the Mile High Massacre. Its just that 59-14 will be sweet for YEARS to come :)
Until the 59 to 14 beat down of the Donkeys this was the last real memory for my Raiders.

@cbaldwinjr True true. We have done some great things, it just seems like this was the last meaningful game that matter to us. That Donkey beat down was a religious experience. I will never forget that!
