actually this guy didn't die. He's very much alive today. earlier in the game he had been hit in the neck on a pressure spot during a tackle. this caused spasmes to occur. he was was released from the hospital the same day and played on the same team the next game and made 2-0 for his team. so no "angel of death" :)
