John McCain Misrepresents The Facts On The Ground

So I can tell you that it is succeeding. I can look you in the eye and tell you it's succeeding. We have drawn down to pre-surge levels. Basra, Mosul and now Sadr city are quiet and it's long and i...

For those who say people who support the war should enlist, set an example by taking money out of your pocket to pay for the health bills of others instead of pointing fingers at people who actually have jobs and raise their families instead of smoking pot all day and watching Olbermann.

McCain sounds like a Bush clone. I could have sworn i recently heard about some violence in sadr city. That is the home of that muqtada al sadr and he's saying it is quiet. Wow with this guy we are just gonna have another misrepresentation of facts just like we have had for the past eight years. He also wants to keep Bushs fucked up tax cuts which only benefit the richest one percent of America.

These days nobody in America reads between the lines. Success is a point of view. Respect your soldiers who are alive, remember the efforts of those soldiers who have fallen, and avoid the mistakes that led them to early graves. I mouth no slogan here, just an opinion.

McCain later clarified his comments which amounts to that he included the thousands of soldiers "that will have come home" in the future. huh?

We as americans are paying off both sides to "cool it",for the elections so dumb-ass McCain can stumble through a speech like this!
you believe what you want..it's almost a free country!
20 years or more is what McCain will be talking about if he is elected.."well the violence on the ground has erupted,we can't pull out with honor until we win."That will be his next move..that was Hillary's move as well.weapons dept will decide!

lethalcobra2k3: Yeah, but I think those who support the war should enlist because I can't stand hypocrites! If they really believed in Cheney's War they would. But with some "supporters" it seems to be all about "other people's money" and "other people's children." We call these people chickenhawks (and worse). BTW, I'm a volunteer vet so I can talk.

The best way to support the troops is to vote to get them home alive and in one piece! And get McSame to stop fighting the new GI Bill.

terrorists take years of thought and planning to do the job, Bush and McCain rush in like fools and embarass our whole country, how many years was it between the two attacks on the world trade center? Just because they arent invading en masse, doesnt mean the war is killing them. They werent in Iraq to begin with!
