I miss Alex Bennett soooooooooo much. He had all sorts of people on his show- no holds bar on gender or professions. A well rounded person who did the best interviews. Growing up in S.F I followed him all around the radio dial on every station. He did a lot of computer related stuff on CNET I think but there will never be another show like his!

Can I have a say on this relatively new videoposting? I think you sound good and honest, and I am impressed that you can express yourself so well. I feel kind of related to you and the same "stereotype of a woman" though I am sitting here fingering my beard :-) It is not easy. You are doing a great job!

sorry, Christine [saving typing strokes]-loved the interview
Thanks for telling me. I will pass it on if necessary. I think you have a lot of courage. Sorry if I offended you. I was really gender challenged by living with a man becoming a woman for the first time, full time, that is. It was probably a good experience for him and for me. I know it was for me.

@drmarconi - What I found was, by playing along and showing an ability to laugh at myself I opened them up (and hopefully) some listeners to being educated by TS issues, plus I showed myself to be more of a "regular" person. If I'd come off as defensive or lecturing, I'd have turned people off and nobody would've learned anything. Alex actually shook my hand with admiration after the segment ended for being a good sport and holding my own.

I love Trannys. Remember my roommate? She's married and very happy. This woman is beautiful. I hate to hear you make fun of it though. It's a difficult path; they don't do it for fun.

@drmarconi - Actually, many transwomen hate being called "trannys" because so many people use it as a derisive term. As for it being a difficult path, if you listened to the interview you'd know that I am a transsexual woman. The problem is that making fun is what this kind of show does. If you don't roll with it, you end up looking bad and don't get an opportunity to do any educating.

Thanks, Jim. BTW, I prefer "Christine." — the other name is what I called myself before I went fulltime. Thanks!
