While picking up my daughter from school, I was cited for "Parking in a POSTED NO PARKING ZONE" by the Avondale P.D. The location was Mulberry & Santa Fe Trail directly across from Corte Sierra Elementary. I have great respect for the Avondale P.D. but I think the officer goofed on this one. Here is the evidence I plan to bring to court on 3/9/2010. Wish me luck!

  • Corte Sierra, EXCELLENT A+ school...The cops effort is there, trying to keep the kids safe....It's all good.

  • I got off!

The judge said he needed to think about it, and 2 days later I got a notice of "Not Responsible". It's not the $60 bucks, it's the principle. The defeat over the law was very gratifying...Cop was mad cool, I talked to him after court and thanked him for keeping the kids safe, he was a nice guy.

  • @TimTheBall fuck school

  • Many parking tickets are a scam. I got a ticket for parking in my school lot even though i had a valid permit. The ticket said "permit not visible" although it clearly was. I had to take it to court just to get the ticket voided. I didnt end up having to pay it but it was extremely inconvenient to go to court

  • They pegged you for parking in a bike trail. Try getting a ticket for a missing front license plate. It happened while I was filing documents at the courthouse in San Bernardino, CA which is a hot spot for them, in order to generate money to for city. This is a constitutional violation and a scam against innocent Americans! The other week I was pulled over by CHP for speeding, while driving 64mph on a toll highway. The cop informed me that an airplane spotted me. No plane existed! They want $

  • I used to go there. Such good memories.

  • what school was it

  • what happened and how did it go? Did you have to pay the ticket and if not, did they still try and make you pay them money some other way or did you get out of there without paying any kinds of fees?
