The "lion of babylon" (the grey, damaged statue) appears to be a human, being forcibly impregnated by an ape, rather than a lion !
NOWHERE can i find ANY reference to a human even being mauled by that lion, but you can CLEARLY see him/HER, underneath it, being subjected !
Watch out for what they tell you is the truth, and just say WHAT YOU SEE !!!!!

Whatever man, this conversation is boring.

@FillTheirVoid "It doesn't go one way or the other necessarily." I pretty much made this point in my very first comment to you then you accused me of being dishonest.
my first comment to you: " It's only obvious to someone who has been spoon fed a heliocentric view since childhood."
Your response: "No, it simply requires a little bit of honest contemplation.?"
How is it hat you can say the same thing I said in my original post, but I am accused of being dishonest.

The point is that the text doesn't elaborate explicitly ... however it is consistent.
It doesn't go one way or the other necessarily.
-
@FillTheirVoid Fine, be consistent with a theory and forget text. I choose the text.
-
As I stated previously, the scripture doesn't elaborate regarding this subject.
I never stated that the scripture states that the earth revolves around the sun due to gravitational orbit.
What I did state is that it is consistent with that theory.
-
@FillTheirVoid Where is the scripture to back up your heliocentric solar system? I don't deal in assumptions, I leave that to theorists and want no part of it.
-
That wasn't the point of the text ... but rather to separate the true God from paganism. Once again this is a very simple observation which may be gleaned from the text and context.
-
@FillTheirVoid Yeah, well it doesn't explain a solar orbit either. There is no point here besides adding something to the text that isn't there. And it is clearly not supported anywhere in the Bible. If it is pleas show it to us. You have to be able to back up what you say with the text or your interpretations.
-
No, it's just a simple observation regarding the text, nor is it set in stone.
This is clearly speaking regarding a physical object. Cultures of that time tended to believe that the earth rested upon something ... however here we are told it does not.
The text obviously doesn't go on to explain the phenomenon of gravitational orbit ... such would have been wasted upon the people it was addressed to at that time.
Awesome! Thanks for this. People will learn one day to believe the scriptures.
