Assuming Taiwan election laws are similar to the US one (i.e. a Republic). Election format is always left to the local government.

I think I know democracy pretty well. Do you know one of the first democracy in human history asked all her neighboring countries to submit to its might because they are far superior than them are? She also picked fights all over the places followed by her eventual defeat. Well, she actually dragged down all her neighbors and they all got conquered by an empire (or a Republic because it had senators).

Simple, I don't want a ICBM end up on my back yard. Also, you really can't be a national of Taiwan and the USA by law(US does not allow dual citizenship; we just don't enforce it though). I do not have a ROC passport and I swear loyalty to the US. Do you know that if you were ever in trouble with the US laws, and you have dual citizenships, you will not be treated as a US citizen.

Also, why are you interested in our taiwanese tv show? I am a national of taiwan and usa. clearly you are not a national of taiwan. And, you perhaps once were a citizen of PRC, but not anymore as you are an american per your statement.

From what you said then and now, I kind of understand your backgrounds. My suggestion for you is "do your best to understand democracy and the related elements that are associated and required with it". Only then, people can believe you are an american but not only a claimed-one via naturalization or the like. Even a retard deserves and has every right to vote.

I never say "direct election is a measure of democracy (show me where I said it)." However, US is clearly a REPUBLIC or someone once said that we are representative democracy! Also, Al Gore is not the only president who had popular vote yet lost the election (he is the forth!) Btw, even if I was home schooled in THE US (I was not), I will probably know and think more logically than someone who were educated via the gavage sytle.

Again this guy doesnt even know what definition of democracy is. He thought only direct election is a measure of democracy. It is really hard to believe he really educated in us. maybe homeschooling by his parents or somethig..gee...

A democrat can forget about Florida. I can tell you why. Do you know who lives in Florida? Cuban descents and I used to work with one. Do you know a lot of them promise not to ever elect a democrat because JFK betrayed them? Also, if Al Gore can win Tennessee (I don't think there is ever a president elect not winning in his own state), he doesn't need Florida. Also, please do more research, there are several states recounted their votes in 2000.

and not to mention in the beginning, Al Gore won Florida, but i forgot why Florida was set to recount votes~ again, FLORIDA!!! BUSH'S BRO'S STATE! i mean why not recount the whole election but only Florida?! it is Obvious that Bush cheated.
