Hello all,
I have been looking for a venue for my upcoming 40th birthday and it's all been fixed for the Kings Arms, Wandsworth on October 24th from 7pm and hope you can all make room in your diaries for the sad event http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/69/6930/Kings_Arms/Wandsworth
To cheer me up, there will be live music from 8pm including the Pira works band The Drawbacks featuring myself on bass. That'll probably be over and done by at least 10pm with a rock disco to follow (danceable stuff like the Stone Roses, Jane's Addiction + New Wave +maybe a bit of Motown but absolutely no house music). It's probably going to be in the function room (it'll hold about 40-50; says 60 but there's a band to set up), and while I have been offered an outside tent I suspect the soft southerners out there will find it a wee bit chilly
