  • What's with the plates under the hands? Is it to do with wrist/shoulder pain or something?

  • @MrATG92 - exactly. He prefers it for less stress on his wrists.

  • How much do those chains weigh...? O.o

  • @Misfit559 - 20 each x 4....this is just for a video sample. We've used 8 chains before.

  • @tsc9198 Why do this instead of just benching? Not being rude; it's a serious question. I want to get back in shape, hahah. Thanks for the help. =)

  • @jimthegreat1012 - because it requires more relative (strength to body weight) & core strength. This is also safer on his shoulders with his posture. You should prioritize body weight if you're just getting back into working out.

  • @kpoff5128 - haha no he doesn't do westside. He's a 47 year old firefighter. Just training to stay strong...and for aesthetics.

  • @MrATG92 actually the plates allow him to work his muscles harder because each pushup involves a bit more movement than a normal pushup - he lowers himself more and raises his body more.

Ps my english sucks - que the grammer nazis :D

  • Fking Sound!!!!

  • would have been easier and less kinky to use a weighted vest

  • Wow

  • Tinnitus

  • How about you work out your legs now :P

  • Hi hi! Have you tried the Fat Blast Furnace (do a search on google)? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my cooworker lost a ton of stubborn fat.

  • chicken legs

  • @MrATG92 No his grip isnt any different. If he was trying to alleviate stress on his wrists he wld use dumbells so his wrists stayed straight. Hes using the weight for a deeper range of motion.

  • For me I have found that it is actually much harder to do the push ups with the weight plates on your back than to have a lopsided object. I do pushups and planks with 45,90, and planks w/ 135lbs all the time
