Akon Rocks Rodeo Austin March 19, 2009
Akon got the crowd riled up and told us all to "Get Down Here!" Everyone promptly rushed the stage. The security guards had no idea what to do...it was total mayhem. The crowd was clearly in charge that night....No one got hurt, Akon rocked the house and it was the liveliest show on record!!!!

Yes, good fun indeed. Akon was cool about making sure no one was injured. But I loved seeing the looks on all the security staff when people starting jumping over the railings. That's never happened out there before. Been going to shows there for 10+ years. Was a sight to see FO SHO!

haha i was there me and my friend had 2 keep running away from the secruity guards when we were down by the stage! so fun!

this was the best concert i had ever been to. i didnt get to jump the fence didnt make it down there got shoved back by the cops but wish i was on the floor. but ended up getting really good sets.

I was there. It was such a blast. Still sucks that it was cut short though.

I was right next to his third crowd surf. The sheriff's deputy threatened to arrest me if I didn't climb back to the bleachers. I gave him a hearty yes sir and then let him shift his attention to someone else while we went to the front of the stage. They really never had a chance but the crowd was pretty mellow about it. I never saw anyone push past any security. We all just went to the spots they couldn't cover. There weren't enough of them. It was all good. Nobody hurt or rude. Just good fun.
