I have to say, this song really grew on me. I find myself singing it in the shower sometimes, but I always stumble on a few lines. I also love how her voice was handled here. You can almost hear the frustration

Chronophobia is the fear of time. It's when you hear that ticking of the clock in the silence before you fall asleep. Some find it comforting, but this particular girl doesn't find it peaceful at all. It just won't stop ticking. It's ticking away her life. Eventually, it's going to stop ticking, and everything'll be over. She doesn't want it to control her life so much. She just wants the regular silence, but no. Even when she removes all the clocks in her home, she can still hear it keeping time, ticking away at her life by the second.

I'm not sure, but I think I had Chronophobia in the third grade. I realized that I only have so much time in my life and every second that passes I can never get back. I would look at the clock and become stressed.
