  • HUGE difference in the mono single mix, as compared to the album mix. Its almost like a new song.

  • wow how cool

  • @stratocat9999 This was the "B" side of Ramblin....

  • I first heard this on a cheesy Capitol big hits compilation, that i still have in stereo. I thought this was a cool track, back before Bob Seeger blew out his vocal chords. Prior to this, the only track I knew by the Bob Seeger System was Ramblin' Gamblin' Man. Now, fire up the Quicksilver Messenger Service and roll another one, :) Cheers!

  • Exactly.

  • You're right. My point was that the original title of the album was "Tales of Lucy Blue", especially since the cover showed "Lucy Blue" (with her hands strategically placed), but was quickly changed when the "A" side became "Rambling Gamblin Man". Good job.

  • Well....... I think Bob explained that "Tales Of Lucy Blue" WAS GOING to be the title of the album, but it ended up being called "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man, now, didn't it??

  • Most people don't know this was the title of their album which features "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man". Even Bob gives cudos to Lucy Blue for the inspiration. Thanx for posting.
