i dont know if its true but when i was at school in the 80ts it was a big thing in the play,ground that mark almond drunk 8pints of spunk and had to have his stomache pumt ...so as a result the fat kid in are class was called almond ....i think he went on to kill him self ....oh well thats kids for you

Almond is not a great performer, he is an over affecting pillow-biter. the fact that david gray was able to infuse ANY life into this nonsense is a testament to mr. gray. in the romantic/synthpop era, soft cell was somewhere between Wham and my cousin Al in the basement with his casio keyboard.

Thank you for posting this - I've been trying to find this song for ages. I love the sad, SAD keyboards that play when he sings, "Take your hands off me." Like he's trying to be strong, but can't quite pull it off. Awesome.

Were you asleep during the new romantic/synthpop era? from a musicians point of view this is a great track and worthy of respect, Marc Almond is a great performer, his sexual preference has nothing to do with this you sad little muppet, this song should be respected along with many others by different artists, you show your ignorance with your comment, how sad for you.
