What irks me most about the jump is all the changes they implement are pretty much undone within the space of a year or 2 rendering it pointless - Bree is no longer with Orson, Andrew managing her nor does she have her cookery business or 'fame', Lynette and Tom's law-breaking sons are no longer in it and were never as bad as this preview painted them to be, Gabrielle is no longer run down and unglamorous and Susan's relationship with Jackson was over in a flash and she's back married to Mike!

Gary Cole is such a versitile actor. He is so cold and calculating in this, but when you compare that to his potrayal of Mike Brady in the Brady Bunch movies, his range and skill is crystal clear.
