Why does all this shite about not wearing a badge and who he works for matter in this? "You're obliged to tell me why you aren't wearing a badge?" "Where ya from?".
FUCKIN GOBSHITE

God - its so painful responding to these comments and having to go through the agony of listening in the background to that tosser Niall abusing a worker

Gardaí beating the crap out of elderly people? The intimidation that has gone on down there is absolutely disgraceful - workers being threatened, phoned at night. Not to mention fishermen sinking their own boats, Corduff making claims of assault but not reporting them. Its a shame to see Ire's rep for international investement being dessimated by the eco warriors, sinners, short-sighted locals who have no problems disgregarding the law when it suits them and conversely involking it when it suits

And last but not least, the pipeline. If it blows, everyone is dead. But you dont think about things too much, do you? You just jump on the bandwagon like everyone else. Come to Glengad, see for yourself, meet the community. SHELL TO SEA!
-
Also, you seem to forget that the Gardai and I-RMS have beaten the shit out of elderly folks protecting their land against Shell and our corrupt government. I suppose thats okay though, once a few people get secure jobs!?!
And the environment, Shell have caused oil leaks into rivers which run into drinking water, covered - European protected - bird nesting areas, have drilled on European protected land without authorisation.

Youre talking about the Corrib gas situation as if you know something about it.
There is about 540 billion euro worth of oil & gas off Mayo, we used to own 50% royalties for all natural resources until Ray Burke (convicted for corruption) & Bertie Ahern (under CONSTANT investigation for corruption) changed those laws. We now have a staggering....... 0, thats right, 0% royalties! I wonder what corporation gave those two muppets the brown envelopes? Maybe Shell?

It will be great as no need to see anymore videos of these complete tossers. Shell will be pay 25% corporation tax. Why were there only 2 applicants for the excavation of the gas if so lucrative? More than 1000 people are employed down there and there will be 150 permanent jobs, not to mention subsidary business directly related to the gas. Also, we might restore our reputation for international investment ruined thanks tossers like Niall with his drug convictions.

Okay, and who says Shell will sell it back to us? Anyway, what difference will it make? We will still have to buy it at full international market prices. So please explain how 'it will be great for Ireland'?

Environmentalists, Peace activists, animal rights activists and community activists etc break the law because what they are doing is morally correct. When Shell breaks laws it involves things like land grabs and murder (Ken Saro-Wiwa 1941 1995)
They hide behind the law yet break the law in the next breath! what gives them the right to go out and break the law to which they so firmly grasp then have the brass neck to start quoting (wrong) legislation. MUPPETS
