A clip from The Secret Life of Plants, a documentary from the late '70s. Stevie Wonder did the soundtrack, and I'm guessing this is the dance associated with aforementioned soundtrack. Rather bizarre, but then it fits perfectly with the rest of the documentary.

I'm assuming smoking marijuana or dropping acid while watching the film isn't mandatory, but I'm assuming that was the director's intent.

  • One of my favorite Wonder albums!! While the film is very dry, the scenes including Wonder's genius were the documentary's high points! When I saw this choreography of the blossoming Black Orchid tears came to my eyes. The movement of arms and legs depicting the awakenig, developing flower was touching. Glad to have come across this post in revisitng The Secret Life of Plants and Wonder's genius. Without his talent in writing the score, I agree, the documentary is 100% "bizarre" and boring.
