But whatever... Carach Angren actually covered "Progenies of The Great Apocalypse" and there is a big (enough of a) difference between the original and Carach Angren sound to say that both bands are not alike.
The only thing that Dimmu Borgir and Carach Angren have in common, is that they are both symphonic black metal.

Everybody have own Taste into Music, and when you think they have a unique Sound, then you know nothing....not all People need agree with you. So, when you listen to Progenies of the Apocalypse you will hear the most same Stuff.
I dont care if somebody love it or not. I miss the own Style from many Bands Today....

Carach Angren is much better. I like Dimmu Borgir alot, but they sound nowhere alike.
And considering lyrics... Carach Angren is so far beyond the standard Satanic theme.
