  • @spacevidcast I think it's a great video. Unique close-in perspective.

  • @darth0nihilus1 It's not like there aren't lots of shuttle liftoffs on YouTube. This video is unique cool in that you have a closeup of the ignition. I like it. Cool stuff. Love the clouds of smoke & vapor.

  • @spacevidcast OK maybe I just overreacted sorry :)

  • The water (at :19) is released. This will supress the engines power on the concrete underneath. When the main engines start the intense heat causes the water vapor you see. At :33 you then see the darker color of the SRB exhaust.

  • @syeager9 It's more of an engineering video replay than anything else. Looking for anything out of the ordinary.
