OMG I always thought that at 1:17 it was real brass (not keyboards). I love songs like momma miss america, dear friend, dear boy, man we was lonely, when the night, lazy dynamite, waterfalls, temporary secretary, monkberry moon delight, ram on, too many people, we're open tonight, some people never know.... ... but ARROW THROUGH ME was always my favourite. It has a fantastic chord progression. Wierd dissonances. Good soul music.

Like I said I respect McCartney for what he has accomplish but yet a true artist like McCartney and MJ would always write, arrange, produce and sing their own material. Yes McCartney and MJ were good friends and Girlfriend was written for MJ from McCartney for Off The Wall. But I would say that McCartney had his own cliche in Pop Music that made him a standout like also MJ made him a stand out as well.

Actually, Goodnight tonight is one of my favorites of Paul's solo work, too bad the 12 inch version is so rare.

I'm just trying to be realistic. If you look at the body of work and influence that McCartney has had as a writer with the Beatles, as a solo artist and songs writen for others, he almost invented the pop song genre.

Music before him sounded very differently.

As for the Beatles, their influence on western culture and the recording industry has not been equaled since.

He consistently makes the top ten all-time songwriters list with Lennon AND as a solo songwriter. Just my personal observation.

Dont give the title MJ to PM. I respect the hell out of Paul McCartney but there is no way that he has the title K.O.P that belongs to MJ RIP The Greatest Entertainer that EVER LIVED
