Journey to the Center of the Earth - 2/3

The Journey to the Center of the Earth application is a virtual 3D simulation designed from the ground up to run over an immersive environment designated by C.A.V.E. (Cave Automatic Virtual Environment).The application was created to simulate a fiction journey to an hollow center of the earth, inhabited by strange creatures. The journey has three main sections (or maps): An initial tunnel, a rollercoaster section on mine carts and a simple cavern environment over at the center of the earth.The journeys premise is simple: you must find a hidden tunnel which guides you to an abandoned section of an old mine complex. Inside that abandoned complex, a mine cart will conduct you through a wild ride to the center of the earth.
Over the course of the application there are maps with possible interaction and free roaming (the first and last) and one which works like a pre-determined path (the second). With this kind of variation, we wish to keep the simulation fluid enough to be fully walkthroughable in a limited amount of time, while still letting it feel enjoyable and attractive enough to warrant the desire to try it again later.
