The new open and weather open of KIRO 7 Eyewitness.

The new graphics package replaces the era of stacking tubes.

This open premiered in March 2008 along with Chief Meteorologist Rebecca Stevenson (formerly KING/NWCN). March 2008 also marked the finale of Steve Raible's grand mustache.

@TelevisionNews However, KIRO did 'borrow' the 11@11 moniker when it regained its CBS affiliation from KSTW, when it had been doing 11@11 while it was a CBS affiliate.

he didn't leave to join puget sound energy. Kiro actually let him go. They wanted a female to do the weather. He just had to get a knew job. So now he works for PSE
