Man In The Mirror (Michael Jackson) Guitar Cover

Today (date of upload) would have been Michael Jackson's 51st Birthday, and to commemorate this I have recorded this somewhat different version of his well known hit Man In The Mirror.

Michael Jackson was an inspiration to me and one of the very few artists I liked when I was growing up. His music is top drawer on every level and after leaving us so young I had to pay a respectable tribute to him, being a musician myself.

Due to the raw talent always present in his music, and his incredible vocal ability, I knew I would not be able to sing a single one of his songs. Therefore, I have made a guitar instrumental version that I believe matches the vocals of the song as best as I possibly could, with the most amount of feeling and passion that I could express.

I have to admit that I don't like this version as much as my other video (You Are Not Alone), and it takes me about 30 seconds or so to really get into the song properly, so I hope you don't exit the video too soon :)

A Few Final Words...


I am extremely sad that the King of Pop is no longer with us, however I feel much more fortunate and thankful that I was alive to see a legend doing what he does best, and also had the chance to see him once in concert.

@123browny456 this is completely by ear, as i tend to avoid tabs as much as i can nowadays. plus i doubt there are even many 'guitar' tabs for this song anyway... given that i dont think a guitar originally featues in it, lol. so that said, yeh this is my own personal interpretation and tribute to one of the greatest musicians/songwriters/dancers that ever lived!

@BryJovi17 well tbh i posted this after seeing the acoustic version which was the based on the actual music not the vocal which is obvl what you have attempted which hasnt in my opinion hasnt work as the volcals are in soo many different keys and pitch changes which is hard to get perfect on the guitar but havong said that it was a good attempt as some parts of the song you can here perfectly as a said it is a realy good attempt and dont think am putting you down here coz hahahahaha
