  • My father worked as a miner for 30 years and took a few knocks, he never said much but I know he loved the bond that miners had between each other. There is no safe mine, but Massey energy violated 57 health and safety laws in one month. The laws are there to protect miners from reckless risk taking by the suits who make all the money but don't get their hands dirty.

  • i hate how all the people that work in big buildings call us hicks and hillbillys well this is gods message to all those people out there what my dad does and everybody else that thinks its a joke that this is gods message that your'e gonna face consequences in the end so you can decide if you wanna burn in hell or not thats all i have to say.

These miners at massey should have the right, to look at any boss in the eye, who try to put them in an unsafe situation, these miners should possess the right to say kiss my ass !!!! UMWA UMWA PRIDE... We dont let company bosses fuck with us, we run the show

  • To of my friends just had their shifts changed a week before that and one of my friends were they in the mines

  • - Oh God, I was coming home from NC. When this happened, I saw ambulances everywhere, I knew something was going on. When I got home I got on facebook & saw people posting stuff, & I'm like Oh My God. I wanted to start crying. :/ R.I.P <3 I love you all.

  • My uncle would have been in there if he was not on leave because of a heart attack. My heart goes out to all the coal miners.

  • God blessed Kevin -God dam Blankingshit! whos next? why cant their be safe mines? the news was that Massey covered the detectors that would have saved all those lives

  • all of this has not been updated there was 29 miners that had parished in this explosion god be with all these families no one should ever have to worry that they might not return just going to work everyday it doesnt matter what you do in life youre life could be stripped from you in a split second so all we can do is be ready for god when god is ready for us
