    You're very welcome. I didn't expect to get in contact with a relative of Ms. Lucy Ann Polk. Thanks for letting me know about the site Kool Kat Korner. Seems like there are some moving pictures that captured her. How I wish to see them! I heartily hope that you'll find her soon.

  • I was saddened to learn recently that Lucy Ann had passed away on October 10th. this year.

    My condolences to Randy and other members of her family.

    Yes... completely agree with you. Lucy is my one of my favorite singer! Very natural, when she sings, it seems like an extension of her breathing. Like I said in another Lucy video on youtube, She the only jazz singer that I've heard that strips away the fake and artificial, you get the point (or story) of the song right away. She makes all the other jazz singers (even the big 3-> Billie, Ella, Sarah) sound mannered and pretentious!
