  • Share! I've joyfully performed this many times. It was composed by this conductor. Lest some forget or not know, he was perhaps the greatest American composer and certainly the greatest conductor! Watch his joy hearing what he penned sing out - watch him swoon in rapture at its beauty, and dance like a child at times! REAL expression, no pretense as he relays to his musicians! As one wrote above "Bernstein conducts music much like copper conducts electricity." I wholeheartedly agree.
