  • @basketballmusician what program are u using? It is different in every program

  • when you say layering the kicks, are you layering your kicks over the kicks in the actual sample?

  • @basketballmusician - the vocal wind down is a fade function. Use the fade tool to draw a fade on the end of the desired channel and, on the left side bar, click and hold "fade". "Slow Down" will appear as an option. This will sound like vinyl slowing down to a full stop. If your fade is long or the track is bass-heavy, I recommend bouncing after performing this effect, then putting a regular fade on the end to keep it from overpowering the mix. The white noise swoosh is a separate effect.
