The Village CAB

The Village CAB is located in the city of Salford in the North West of England. The service is managed by a steering group of gay and lesbian volunteers while the day-to-day management is the responsibility of Salford Citizens Advice.

The Village developed from a demand for advice from gay men and lesbians in the North West of England and is delivered by volunteers from those communities.

Salford Citizens Advice

Salford Citizens Advice is independent and provides free, confidential, impartial and non-judgemental advice to everybody regardless of age, religion, race, gender, sexuality or disability. The service is the largest provider of advice in the city of Salford and its core work is delivered by fully-trained volunteers.

The Village CAB in partnership with Salford Citizens Advice were recently successful in securing funding from the Equality and Human Rights Commission. These films form part of that programme of work.

The law on discrimination is very complex and these films are not intended to be a definitive guide on your rights or the law. Instead these films are intended to be an introduction to your rights and a signpost to where you can go to get further advice and guidance. Remember, before taking action it is vital that you get up-to-date information and guidance from your local CAB, Law Centre or the EHRC.

po people with disabliys like me if you have a disablity

  • well i am happy to say i have never been discriminated because of my disability

  • @jackdaniels798 crawl back into the bottle u oozed out of u prick

  • @KellyThundercloud all i ask and all anyone i know asks is an equal deal for all . i dont want to be offered a job or given chances i dont deserve . the world is full of idiots but it has a lot more normal decent people just keep fighting !

  • @bigrider2806 People are rediculous! The unemployment rate of disabled people is rediculous! Many times, disabled people are harder workers because they actually care about the work they are doing...because they want to prove they can do it!

  • @JackDaniels798 You're an asshole. People like you are the reason why we still have to deal with these problems.

  • @JackDaniels798 kill yourself

  • wtf is this bitch trying to say

  • @dave2806 Lol, yeah, the guy above that guy had no choice. That was too blatant. The company owner probably knew that, if he didn't give you something, he'd get sued into bankruptcy!
