"Its SO a date." i smiled widely as i walked to my frist period class.

(Selena's p.o.v)
So it was the end of the day....THANK GOD. i had to study for this huge test tomorrow, but all i could think about was....Nick of course. Because he just HAD to be on the basketball team. Because i just HAD to say yes to hang out with him later...which was NOT a date. And he just HAD to be the cutest, hottest, most irresistable guy on the planet.
"I still cant believe you're going on a date with MY BROTHER." Demi complained as we were walking down the halls to my locker.
"Its not a date." i corrected her. She laughed.
"Sureee its not." She rolled her eyes and walked away. I sighed as i grabbed my backpack and put all the heavy books inside.
"Hey, need some help?" i heard the voice that i never wanted to hear ever again. I new immediately who it was.
"Lautner....leave me the hell alone." I didnt even bother to turn around.
"Aw, come on Lena. Cant you just forgive me already and move on?" He played around and leaned right next to me. I glared directly at him. Suddenly, Miley came over. And of course, she kissed him. It disgusted me.
"We were just wondering if you wanted to hang out later. As an apology." He said as he wrapped his arms around Miley. I rolled my eyes, trying to hide the tears about to excape my eyes.
"Im busy." I explained, turning around again, gathering my books. .
"Busy? Doing what?" He asked curiously. I sighed once more, taking another deep breath in.
"Nick and I are hanging out later." I finally said, slamming my locker. I strutted my way down the halls, hoping they wouldnt call for me. But of course they did.
"WHOA WHOA WHOA...WHO?" The couple ran over to me. I sighed.
"This doesnt even invovle you. So just stay out of my business." i demanded.
"Hes way out of your league." Miley snorted. I got infuriated.
"Miley, just shutup okay." i snapped. Suddenly, taylor got tense, as if he was pissed that i was hanging out with Nick today. Which is pretty normal. Taylor always gets jealous. I completely shut them off and ran out the school doors.
"Selena whats wrong?" i heard Demi's voice call out from behind, but it was all a blurr to me as i went into the car and drove off.

AT HER HOUSE.

"Hey Selly! I made burgers! Want some?" Joe asked as i entered the house. I tried hiding my tears as i just went upstairs.
"Im not hungry." i said before closing the door.
Taylor. Nick. Taylor. Nick. Those stupid annoying names. Taylor- the guy who ripped my heart, and acts like nothing even happened. Nick- the new guy who makes me feel...like me again. But i cant go down that path again. Not unless i want to get hurt again. And i dont want to.
I checked the time: 6:30.
I should be getting ready for wherever Nick was taking me. Was i excited about this? I guess. Im just curious on what Nick is planning.
As i got up to get dressed, Joe came in.
"Nick just called. he said he'll be here in 2 minutes." He said. Wow he's early. Maybe he was excited about it?
"Thanks Joe." I said as i picked out some skinny jeans and a pink flowy shirt. I was gonna ask Joe if it was okay if i went out with Nick, but i knew he already liked him.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang and butterflies competely filled my stomach. As i walked down the stairs and opening the door, i saw Nick with the most concerned expression ive ever seen.

"Whats wrong?" i asked, surprised on what i saw. He looked really worried.
"I should be asking you that." He said in a low, uneasy voice.
"Demi told me what happened. Are you okay? Is everything alright?" He asked as he stood my the doorway. I sighed, knowing that Demi saw me crying in the car probably. I dont even know why i was crying. Just the thought of Taylor again probably.
"Nothing's wrong." I lied, feeling my face get red.
"Selena, dont lie to me, please." he begged as he came in.
"I dont wanna talk about it." i muttered as i took my jacket. I tried whispering, knowing Joe was listening from the kitchen.
"Im here early to see if you were okay, and clearly you're not." he stated as he crossed his arms. Ive never seen him like this before. I didnt say anything. He looked deep into my eyes, reading every clear expression i had in them.

He sighed. "...come on." he grabbed my waist and pulled me out the door.
"Where are we going?!" i struggled out of his grasp, but he held me tight.

"Somewhere where we can talk." his voice was serious.
